1. The ground this page covers

One narrow question is answered below: what My Travel Innovations LLC asks your browser to keep while you read mytravelinnovations.com, for what reason, and how you take it back out again. The policy applies only to this website and to no other property, product, or service.

We wrote this document to be read, not skimmed past. Many storage policies list dozens of vague categories and leave you guessing about what actually runs on the page. Ours is short on categories because the site is short on storage. You will find the complete inventory in Section 3, and it currently contains exactly one entry.

This policy works together with our Privacy Policy, which covers personal information more broadly, including what our server logs record and how contact form messages are handled. If anything in this document seems unclear after reading, the final section explains how to reach us with questions.

2. What cookies and browser storage are

Think of a cookie as a short note the site hands your browser to hold onto. On a later visit the browser hands the note back, which is how a site can tell it has met your device before and can carry something from one page to the next. Cookies can expire after minutes or persist for years, depending on how the site sets them.

Browsers also offer other storage tools that behave in comparable ways. Local storage holds named text values that stay on your device until something deletes them. Session storage works the same way but empties itself when you close the tab. IndexedDB can hold larger structured records for web applications that need them.

Privacy rules in many regions treat all of these tools the same way, and so do we. What matters is not the technical label but whether information is stored on, or read from, your device. For that reason this policy covers cookies, local storage, session storage, and any comparable mechanism, and we use the single word "storage" for all of them below.

One more distinction is worth naming. First-party storage is set by the site you are visiting, under its own domain. Third-party storage is set by a different domain whose content is embedded in the page, such as an ad server, an analytics script, or a video player. The difference matters because third-party storage can follow your browser across many unrelated sites and stitch those visits together. This site uses no third-party storage at all, as Section 9 explains.

3. What this site actually stores: the full inventory

Here is the complete list of storage that mytravelinnovations.com creates in your browser.

That is the entire inventory. The site sets no HTTP cookies of its own, first party or otherwise. It creates no session storage entries, no IndexedDB databases, and no other persistent records on your device. Fonts, images, styles, and scripts are all served from this domain, so no outside host gets a chance to set anything while a page loads.

The single key exists for one practical reason. Without it, the storage notice would reappear on every page you open, which would be far more intrusive than the key itself. Storing your answer once means the site asks the question once. The saved value tells the site whether you chose "Allow all" or "Keep it minimal", and nothing more. It contains no identifier, no history of pages you read, and nothing that could describe you to anyone.

4. Categories of storage

We sort storage into three categories. Only the first one currently contains anything.

Strictly necessary

This category covers storage the site needs in order to respect your decisions and function correctly. The preference key described in Section 3 is the only member. It cannot be switched off through the notice itself, because the site needs it to honor whichever answer you gave. You can still delete it at any time using your browser, as Section 6 describes, and the site keeps working normally without it.

Optional analytics

The site currently runs no analytics storage of any kind. There is no visitor counter, no heatmap script, and no measurement tag on any page. If we ever adopt a measurement tool that stores anything on your device, that storage would belong to this category. It would be named in Section 3, this policy would be updated first, and the tool would stay inactive unless you selected "Allow all" on the notice.

Optional advertising

The site currently displays no advertising and sets no advertising storage. If consent-based advertising is ever enabled on these pages, any related storage would fall into this category. It would activate only after you select "Allow all", it would be listed by name in Section 3, and this policy would carry a new updated date before the change went live. Choosing "Keep it minimal" would keep every entry in this category switched off, and that choice would be respected for as long as your saved value says so.

5. How the storage notice works

On your first visit, a small card appears near the top right corner of the page. It is headed "One small setting" and it offers two buttons: "Allow all" and "Keep it minimal". The card floats above the content without blocking the page, and you can read the site before answering.

Choosing "Keep it minimal" records the value minimal under the key mti_bench_ok_v1. The site then limits itself to strictly necessary storage, which at present is that one key and nothing else. Choosing "Allow all" records the value all. Today that changes nothing in practice, because no optional storage exists to activate. The distinction would matter only if the optional analytics or advertising described in Section 4 were ever introduced.

There is no hidden consent mechanism on this site. Scrolling is not agreement, continued reading is not agreement, and closing the tab records nothing. If you ignore the card, no value is saved, the site treats you exactly as if you had chosen minimal, and the card simply appears again on your next visit. Only a deliberate press of one of the two buttons writes anything to your device.

6. How to change or withdraw your choice

Your choice is not permanent, and withdrawing it takes about a minute. Because the setting lives in local storage under this site's domain, removing that data resets the decision completely.

To withdraw or change your answer, open your browser's controls for site data, find mytravelinnovations.com, and clear the stored data for this site. The next time you open any page here, the notice appears again and you can answer differently. Section 7 gives the menu path for each major browser. Deleting the key has no downside beyond seeing the card once more: you lose no content and no functionality, because nothing else about your visit is stored.

A few practical notes are worth adding. If you use several browsers or several devices, the choice is stored separately in each one, so clearing data in one browser does not affect another. Private browsing windows usually start with empty storage, which means the notice will appear there too, and any answer you give vanishes when the window closes. If your browser is set to clear site data on exit, the notice will greet you on each new session, which is a perfectly reasonable way to browse.

7. Managing storage in your browser

Every major browser lets you view, limit, and delete cookies and site data, both for a single site and across the board. The paths below are accurate as of the date at the top of this policy. Menus shift between versions, so if a step does not match what you see, use the search field inside the browser's settings and look for "site data" or "cookies".

Chrome

Open the three-dot menu, choose Settings, then Privacy and security. Under the third-party cookies controls you can block cross-site cookies entirely. To remove this site's storage, open Site settings, then the list of data stored across sites, search for mytravelinnovations.com, and delete its entry. You can also click the icon at the left end of the address bar while viewing this site and manage its stored data from that panel.

Firefox

Open the application menu, choose Settings, then Privacy and Security. Under Cookies and Site Data, choose Manage Data, type mytravelinnovations.com into the search field, select the entry, and remove it. The same section lets you clear all site data or block cross-site tracking storage. Raising Enhanced Tracking Protection to its strict level tightens those limits further across every site you visit.

Safari

On a desktop computer, open the Safari menu, choose Settings, and select the Privacy tab. Click Manage Website Data, search for mytravelinnovations.com, select the entry, and click Remove. On a phone or tablet, open the device settings, choose Safari, then Advanced, then Website Data. From that list you can search for this site and delete its stored data, or clear everything at once.

Edge

Open the three-dot menu, choose Settings, then the cookies and site permissions section. Select the option to manage and delete cookies and site data, open the full list of stored data, search for mytravelinnovations.com, and remove it. The privacy section of the same settings area offers tracking prevention levels that limit third-party storage across the web.

You can also configure any of these browsers to block all cookies outright or to erase storage every time you quit. This site remains fully usable under the strictest settings. The only visible effect is that the notice returns, because the site can no longer remember that it already asked.

8. Industry opt-out programs

Two long-running industry programs let you decline interest-based advertising from many participating companies at once. The Digital Advertising Alliance, known as the DAA, operates a browser choices tool that you can reach by typing optout.aboutads.info into your address bar. The Network Advertising Initiative, known as the NAI, offers a similar consumer tool at optout.networkadvertising.org, typed the same way.

Both tools work by setting opt-out preferences with each participating advertising company, usually in the form of an opt-out cookie per company. Two details are worth understanding before you rely on them. First, because the opt-outs live in cookies, clearing all cookies also clears the opt-outs, and you would need to run the tool again. Second, these programs stop tailored targeting rather than advertising itself, so ads may still appear, just without interest-based selection behind them.

We mention these programs for completeness and for your general use around the web. This site currently serves no advertising of any kind, so nothing here requires an opt-out today. The programs would become relevant to this domain only in the conditional future described in Section 4, and even then your "Keep it minimal" choice on this site would take effect first.

As a matter of policy, we do not link to outside sites anywhere on this domain. That is why these addresses appear as plain text for you to type or copy rather than as clickable links.

9. Third parties and embedded content

Pages on this site embed no third-party content. There are no social buttons, no embedded maps, no video players, no comment systems, and no externally hosted fonts, images, or scripts. Every file a page requests comes from this domain. This is a deliberate design decision: each embedded outside service is an opportunity for another company to store or read data in your browser, and the simplest way to prevent that is to embed nothing.

The contact form is the one interaction that involves an outside processor. When you choose to submit the form, your message travels through a form delivery service that relays it to our mailbox. That transfer happens only at the moment you press send, and simply reading the contact page places no storage from that service in your browser. The Privacy Policy describes how those messages are handled and how long they are kept.

If a future feature ever genuinely requires third-party storage, we will name it in Section 3, categorize it in Section 4, and gate it behind the notice before it ships. Nothing will be added quietly.

10. Changes to this policy

We review this policy whenever the site's storage behavior changes and at least once each year. The updated date at the top of the page reflects the most recent revision, so comparing dates is enough to know whether anything moved.

Minor edits, such as clarified wording or corrected browser menu paths, may happen without a fresh consent request. Substantive changes will not take effect silently. If a revision ever expands what the site stores, the notice will ask for your choice again instead of assuming that your old answer covers something new.
